A gorgeous little conservatory in Highland park! They have a great variety of plants in different themed rooms. I love the birds and turtles that roam around inside, and they have signs telling you what the turtles and tortoises names are. The small entry fee is definitely worth it!

The $4 entrance fee is reasonable for the small size of this conservatory. Located in Highland Park, parking is limited to street parking out front but you can find a nearby lot amd enjoy the walk through the park. I was tickled to see various birds, tortoises and turtles lounging about. They have several signs indicating what they are and their names. I had to be vigilant about where I was stepping as they have no qualms about laying on the walkway. Plants are everywhere, potted, hanging amd grounded. I love the chaos and charm it has. I was particularly drawn to the large variety of cacti and some were impressively large. They have plenty of chairs and benches throughout the conservatory to sit and reflect. I saw people drawing and reading. If you just do a quick walk through, you'll be in and out in 15 minutes. Of course, this doesn't include taking several moments to take pictures and check out the animals.

I love this place! Me and my mother make a yearly trip for the lilac fest, and going to this awesome conservatory is the highlight of our trip. The cute baby quail and their parents roaming in the gardens is just adorable. The price is more than fair, I think it's less than $5 for adults and even less for children and seniors. I see something new every year, and my family likes this place so much better than the botanical gardens here in Buffalo...puts the gardens here in Buffalo to shame, even though Lamberton is a much smaller conservatory.

Lumberton conservatory sits in highland park and is a small but peaceful retreat which hosts quail as well as other birds an abundance of turtles to enjoy fish and tropical plants and a banana tree as well as a fig tree. Benches are placed throughout the conservatory for sitting and relaxing. A small admission price is paid at the front desk. The day my partner and I visited we purchased a bag of daffodil bulbs for a mere few dollars. A big thank you goes out to the front desk to the young lady who greeted us. She shared information with us regarding the turtles conservatory as well as suggesting a walking trail which was best suited for us to enjoy the lilacs rhodenrums spring flowering flowers which was located on a map hanging from the wall located in the front lobby of the conservatory. Lumberton conservatory offers a holiday show which has different times available. Check out the website for more information.

I love this place. Itβs small but my husband and I love this place for a quiet night out of the house. Walk around and sit enjoy the flowers. Recently went on a nicer day and saw fishes ! Iβve been there a bunch of times but it was colder out so we didnβt see them before. I take every one here who visits us in Rochester. Thereβs a scavenger hunt I canβt find the toad! lol. If anyone finds him please let me know:)
